Whole of action beautifully engraved with deer scene one side and boar scene on the other. Stock in excellent condition with cheek piece and ebonite butt plate. Overall condition is pristine. With telescopic sight and aim point sight. Has variable power sight 1 1/2 - 4 1/2 with quick detachable claw mounts both fitted to the same base. Superbly accurate.… ***

Thomson was a devout Christian and joined the Canterbury Infantry Regt. as a Stretcher Bearer and embarked with the main body in October 1914.… ***

Barrels, trigger guard and top lever have been reblued. Walnut stock (marbled) and fore-end in beautiful condition. Overall condition is excellent. ***
