A Japanese Katana sword with scabbard. Taken from a Jap Lieut. Colonel by Jack Sue and Don Harlem during Operation Agas with Major Gort Chester behind Japanese lines in British north Borneo 1945. This sword has had 3 different handles and the bottom kanji has been removed to accommodate the current handle inside this sword box, the translations from the blade, give it a possible date of manufacture as far back as 1362 note: this sword was used for beheadings plus a custom made jarrah case total. Length 100 cm
