Surfboard: Hobie 'Leroy Ah Choy' model, 1968. 7 feet 6 inches x 22 inches. A very rare desirable Hobie Leroy Ah Choy model, transition shape. Unique in that it has a 'tri-plane' bottom with a flat pintail planning surface and a V tail. Yellow tint top and bottom with English racing green rails. Large Hobie Ah Choy laminates and designated Hawaii model. W.A.V.E. Set in fin box with superb removable fin. Leroy was one of Hawaii’s top competitors throughout the 60 feet s and is credited with introducing the now popular Stand Up Paddle board in Waikiki. Very few of these models were made and rarely will you find one in this good original condition.
