Description:
An important South Australian, Adelaide Colonial Ledger, c.1851 - Provenance: Discovered among the papers of Sir Thomas Brisbane 1773-1860, former Governor of NSW. The ledger has detailed Adelaide and South Australian accounts, including Norwood, Kensington 1847, Burra 1853, Saddleworth 1856,Gawler river, Fullarton, Salisbury, Prospect in 1849, Port Adelaide 1852 Onkaparinga and Hindmarsh 1852. There also includes some plot diagrams and a Land bills Register for 1851. There are also countless trading accounts including camel sales 1853, records of leases and rents recorded against many of South Australia's most prominent colonial family names.
