A Royal Worcester porcelain 'Limoges Enamel' decorated plate, Mid-1860s, the enamel decoration firmly attributed to Thomas Bott, Snr, circular, cobalt blue ground, the centre finely decorated in white enamel with a personification of 'Day' after Bertel Thorvaldsen, otherwise plain, mounted in an antique oval gilt frame, impressed factory marks underside, 25.5 cm diameter. Condition: some light scratching to the blue ground to observe and reverse. Blue ground not consistently covering edge of plate., inspection under Uv light presents losses and scratches to the enamel decoration.
