A white jade hanging vase and cover, 20th century, of oval section, the well hollowed tapering shouldered body rising from a splayed foot, either side carved with a finely pierced diaper panel, and set on the shoulders with foliate scroll and loose ring handles attached to long linked chains terminating in a reticulated foliate scroll tablet, knopped and domed cover, the white stone with some faint opaque white mottling, wood stand, the vase 13 cm high, 39 cm overall
