*** Attributed to Wang Qi (1884-1937) painted porcelain fan shape panel, Republic period the panel depicts two men playing a board game with child looking on, and upper left has a series of Chinese calligraphy characters with two red seal marks lower. Height 25 cm. Width 52 cm. Note: Wang Qi was one of the eight friends of Zhushan a key group of Republic decorators revitalising the Chinese porcelain industry after the fall of the Qing Dynasty ***

The service in the style of an English Victorian design, manufactured of high grade silver with solid gold pierced embellishments, diamonds, enamel work and with turned ivory ball feet. The base of the silver pots are stamped 'D.C. 90', likely a makers stamp and 900 grade of silver. The gold embellishments to the upper rim collars, handle mounts, spouts and lid plates are testing between approximately 9ct and 22ct.… ***

*** A Chinese porcelain circular table screen, with carved mythical lion stand the porcelain panel is painted in the Qianjiang enamel technique inside a dark hardwood frame. The stand is carved hardwood and decorated with pierced upper scrolling work, which supports the circular screen. The centre stand features a carved frog-mouth style mythical lion with head turned sideways looking out, standing among rocky surfaces, flowering leaves and branches on a platform base. Height 57 cm.
