A large inscribed Tibetan copper monk's cap ewer, 17th/18th century, Commissioned for the Tashi Lhunpo monastery in Shigatse. The inscription reads 'This vessel made of red sandal wood and its essence, May bring merits to all sentient beings and accumulate the merits and insights, thus leading to the realm of Buddhahood. A pair of Chinese inscribed hardwood side chairs, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 18th/19th century, with curved, round section toprails fitted to round section posts, a curved backsplat plain to the front but with large characters inscribed to the reverse reading 'Shishan Yegong Ci' (Yegong shrine at Shishan).
