Antique ceramic double compartment postage stamp box, manufactured by ceramic Art Co. Lenox Belleek American Incorporated ceramics. It appears to be a souvenir to celebrate the founding of the University in 1865 by the co-founder Ezra Connell who died in 1874. The Belleek trademark is on the underside. A very interesting and desirable collectable and memorabilia University item. Fine condition

1950s vintage three compartment stamp box, made with 'French Ivory' (ivorine) in a Canadian factory. Marked on the underside of the hinged lid. In unused condition, the inside compartment and underside of the lid is in a much darker colour. The gold leaf to 'Stamps' has virtually disappeared but could easily be redone.
