An ancient Greece Athens 'Tetradrachm' silver coin, 449-413B.C. - Sear 2526, a good crisp example 'VF'. Note: Athenian Owls were arguably the most influential of all coins and one of the most highly recognisable as they popularised the practice of putting a head on the obverse and a tail (animal) on the reverse. Athena was goddess of both wisdom and warfare as represented by the owl.

A cased half ship model of the S.S. Richmond, built in England in 1885. Purchased by the vendor's family for their Pacific Island trading business. The 'Richmond' continued to be used on routes between Dunedin, Auckland, the Society Islands, Tonga and Samoa until 1896 when she was sold to the Union Steamship Co. and renamed 'Haupiri'. In 1915 she was sold by USS Co. to Sun Shipping Co., London, she was lost in a storm in the Mediterranean in 1922. 157 cm x 24 cm x 35 cm.
