Soviet MIG - 21 Fighter Pilot Pressure Suit: The MIG-21 was the AK-47 of the skies with more built than any other type of jet fighter. Operated by nearly 50 air forces spanning 40 years, the FISHBED (NATO name) had a 7:1 kill ratio over US aircraft bombing North Vietnam in 1967-68. This type of pressure suit enabled the pilot to manage a phenomenal rate of climb.
