*** A large and impressive silver cup and cover, the cylindrical body heavily chased and engraved panels depicting flowers and foliage, the cover embossed with ten similar foliate panels. Two acanthus capped scroll handles issue from the sides, the cover with a ball finial of unfurling acanthus leaves, the cup raised on a low domed foot of serpentine outline conforming to the cup. Stamped under the foot ‘Carrington & Co., 130 Regent Street, London W22309’ and scratch engraved ‘Copy of Gold Cup, date 1675’.… ***

*** A rare Chinese silver bachelor’s teaset of ribbed, tapered, cylindrical form, each wide rib with various relief decorated panel of blossoms, figures, dragons, bamboo, etc., the twin handled sugar bowl and teapot with curling branch and leaf moulded finials, reeded borders, gilded interiors. Each piece with maker’s mark 'Hc' and character marks for Hung Chong, Shanghai, c.1860-1930. Total weight 978 gms. Teapot height 13.5 cm. ***

The oval section pot with wrythen fluting to the lower part of the body beneath a chased and engraved border of floral sprigs, the shoulder and the hinged lid edge with fine engraved detailing beneath a wrythen fluted dome surmounted by an urn finial. The swing handled sugar basket and milk jug of conforming decoration and similarly the oval pot stand. With accompanying sugar tongs of the same year by William Williams. ***
*** A rare Marjorie Trenwith (New Zealand) silver teapot, the mildly hammered spherical body with central fine rope and wire bands, the push-on lid with grape bunch, leaf and vine finial, repeating applied grape leaf border, further applied grape leaves to the spout and handle fittings, carved wood traditionally pinned heat rings to the handle, raised on four applied, cut out and engraved grape leaves. Maker’s mark to base and ‘St. Sil’. Length 30.5 cm. Height 16 cm. Weight 828gms.… ***
