Six photographs of the laying of the railway line at Ucolta in the mid-north, July 1903. Four of the photographs are of assembled gangers, two of them by John H. Garden, Petersberg, another one stamped W.E. Moyses Photographer Yarcowie, and the fourth is unattributed. The fifth and sixth photographs show gangers working on the line, but obviously posed, and include the first section of the line to be laid. Both photographs rather faded.
