Unusual cast-iron figure of a seated Buddha with large flame Mandala. The four legged base bears calligraphy referencing a date to the thirteenth year of the three kingdoms period, (c. 220-265AD). Exact age unknown. It has been suggested that the Buddha made be made from meteorite iron. Some rusting. The Buddha stand and mandala have been glued together. Height 21 cm

Beautifully glazed beehive shaped brush pot. Covered in a bright peach bloom glaze which has transmuted to green in places. Running out to a level line at the foot rim. The underside bearing a six character, underglaze blue Kangxi (1662-1722AD) reign mark. The mark is considered to be apocryphal. The porcelain possibly made in the Republic era, 1930. Exceptionally rare 17th or early 18th century copy of a Chinese Kraak design dish, with floral borders and panels. The underside with underglaze blue vines and a central encased cross mark. Three spur marks which separated the plate from the one below during firing. This dish was evidently made in Japan for the Chinese market and bears a later metal band around the rim and incised owners mark in the cavetto. Minor firing faults. Diameter 21 cm
