A fine Empire style Karelian birch and walnut wardrobe, early 20th century. the breakfront arched robe in contrasting dark and warm colours with fine stringing throughout, a central mirrored section with a fitted interior, an ebonised crest and lozenges to the doors inlaid with allegorical figures, with gilt bronze anthemion and scroll trims, foliate and inlaid spandrels with pendant mother-of-pearl garlands.
