A large Victorian silver jewel box, maker S.C within double circle, Birmingham, 1860, of rectangular form, the hinged lid slightly domed with a scrolling foliage border, an engraved crested cartouche to the front, lion head with ring drop handles, raised on outswept feet, the interior later with fitted navy velvet lining, 1538 gms, 30 cm wide
