A Dutch marquetry inlaid walnut longcase clock, circa 1780, the hood with arching top, blind fretwork frieze, the two train alarm movement on two bells, having a brass chapter ring with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic for the minutes, with date aperture, subsidiary second dial, gilt spandrels, surmounted in the arch with moon phase indicator, flanked by marquetry columns, the extensively inlaid door with central circular window, supported on a scrolling stepped base terminating in bracket feet, 243 cm high, 63 cm wide, 25 cm deep
