A pair of small round-corner tapered hardwood cabinets, Yuanjiaogui, (2), each with protruding round-cornered top supported on rounded corner posts, enclosing a pair of panelled doors, the upper panels pierced with ruyi heads above panels carved in relief with the 'Four Gentlemen', prunus, orchid, chrysanthemum and bamboo, and separated by a removable stile, the sides with similarly pierced upper panels, all above a shaped apron with foliate scrolls at the front joined to the short legs, each set with baitong lock fittings, the wood of dark tone resembling zitan, (2), 56 cm high, 34 cm wide, 20.5 cm deep
