A George III Scottish silver ladle and an Edwardian silver gilt sweetmeat basket, the ladle Robert Gray & Son, Edinburgh, 1809, the sweetmeat, Lionel Alfred Crichton, London, 1907 the plain fiddle pattern ladle inscribed with a scolling 'C', the sweetmeat with cast foliate handle, beaded rim to the pierced basket which is decorated with flowers, supported on an applied ovoid base resting on four outswept feet (2) the ladle 220gms 35 cm long the basket 240gms, 13 cm high, 15.5 cm wide, 13 cm deep
