A George IV faux porphyry parcel gilt torchere, circa 1825 having a beaded rim to the circular top, the tapering faux porphyry ground column mounted with a gilt lotus volute and upturned gilt acanthus collar, supported on a triform base surmounted by anthemion, in turn resting on well carved lion paw feet on an ebonised iron weighted concave triform base 111 cm high, 52 cm wide, 52 cm deep
