W. B. Maley: collection of West Australian Photographic glass plates, c.1930's – 1950's. a unique photographic archive of approximately 115 images on glass plates, taken by a West Australian amateur photographer, Wesley Bellingham Maley. Wesley was a gunner in World War I and was wounded with a piece of shell lodged in his lung. He took up photography as a hobby and the images include: a variety of botanical subjects, native bird and Australian wildlife, scenes of Kings park, views across the Swan River to South Perth, Aboriginal spear points, and much more.
