A George II silver coffee pot, of mildly tapering form on circular spreading and domed foot and with high domed hinged cover with urn finial, restrained decoration to spout and scrolling ebony handle. Crested to either side with a griffin's head erased sable, triple gorged argent, the central collar semee. Engraved underneath with a betrothal triangle 'L over IM' and 'In Memory of John Kellow'. London 1746 by Gabriel Sleath. Weight 761gms. Height 23.5 cm
