Len Castle, stoneware hanging form. Diameter 18 cm.Anneke made this pair of vases in 2012 while caring for her mother who suffered from dementia. The describes them as the blackness of the loss of memory – the white of the essence of personality left, - sideways, the shape of our brain; and the small opening left, to communicate; the two halves of life.
