Goldfields: Presentation clock with sterling silver plaque 'From the Employees of Cameron's Free'd Gold Mine Co. to Mr Wm Smyth with Gold Albert as a token of their Esteem. Sept 2nd 1878'. Gold was first discovered in Victoria on Donald Cameron's station in 1851 at the now township of Clunes near Ballarat. Height 28.5 cm
