A celadon jade openwork 'spring water' plaque, 17th century, carved with a goose in flight swooping down among intertwining stems of lotus leaves and flowers and saggitaria, growing from incised waves, in pierced and high relief within the plain oval border, the stone of even pale tone with a small opaque inclusion at the edge, mounted in gilt metal as a belt clasp, the back plate with engraved floral scrolls and fitted with a gilt metal strap, 9 cm long
