A late 19th century Chinese mother of pearl and ivory folding panelled rosewood screen, each rectangular panel finely inlaid with a central scene depicting chrysanthemums, cranes, ho ho birds and sparrows, within foliate carved borders, reverse with cinnabar lacquer. Sold by descendants of Cunningham McFarlane notable 19th century Melbourne jeweller. 184 cm high, 160 cm wide.
