A French bird's eye birch and inlaid side cabinet in the antique manner, mid-20th century, in the form of a secretaire à abattant, the frieze with leather book spines concealing a pair of doors enclosing a compartment, the fall enclosing a large mirrored compartment for drinks, two panelled doors below enclosing shelves, on tapering feet, the fall and doors inlaid in classical foliate designs. Height 166 cm. Width 104 cm. Depth 55 cm.
