A good Continental figured walnut secretaire a abattant, third quarter 19th century, the arched top and frieze drawer above the fall enclosing a writing surface and a well-fitted and inlaid arrangement of a cupboard, small drawers, and pigeon holes, three long drawers below, on turned front feet, the fall and drawer fronts panelled and quarter-veneered in well-figured walnut. Height 175 cm. Width 99 cm. Depth 49 cm.
