A large and impressive Chinese carved ivory puzzle ball on stand, the pierced and carved ball with an elaborate deep floral carved ball enclosing at least 18 further concentric balls with various floral, trellis and other pierced decoration, the tall stand with plain cup holder above a pierced waisted cylinder, carved landscape section with figures and buildings above a smaller conforming puzzle ball above a further large carving of a boy holding a large lashed fish out of the water below a weeping willow, all on a carved and pierced circular domed base, floral and leaf decoration, the stem with turned knopped spacings. Height overall 57.5 cm
