A rare late 19th century New Zealand Austin, Kirk & Co. Pottery ceremonial Masonic carafe, wide bodied mallet form with relief emblems and a large circular plaque with further traditional Masonic emblems, swollen tall narrow neck, clear glaze showing the buff body, minor chipping to base and simple restoration to the cracked neck, unmarked, circa 1880s. Height 25 cm. Diameter of body 17.5 cm
