David Phillips Foulkes Taylor (1929-1966) three door jarrah buffet, c.1960 likely manufactured by Catt furniture western Australia with two fitted cutlery drawers, adjustable shelves. Length 213 cm. Depth 45.5 cm. Height 91 cm. Note: David Phillips Foulkes Taylor (1929-1966) enrolled 1947 to study architecture at Perth Technical college; a year later, left to study in London, central school of Arts & Crafts, Holborn. foulkes Taylor, a promoter of modernism, opened a showroom in Crawley 1957, displaying imported European made pieces, with designs of his own.
