A French 19th century ormolu mantel clock, the clock with eight-day bell striking movement, surmounted by a bronzed figure cast of a Roman scholar, with an enamelled dial and Roman numerals flanked by ivorine panels, the base with leaf and berry decoration on scrolled feet. 52 cm high, 50 cm wide 22 cm deep.
