A large blue and white sleeve vase, transitional period, of cylindrical form with waisted neck, the body finely painted with an official standing beneath a parasol, his attendants holding fans and banners to the side greeting a messenger bearing a gift, all within a fenced garden of rocks and plants, between incised borders and with a painted plantain leaf collar around the neck.
