Australian Colonial 18ct yellow gold hard stone cameo, locket brooch, c.1860-1870's, by Timothy T. Jones, George St. Sydney. Depicting Grecian girl, carved in agate containing locket with hair stamped with makers mark, T.T.J. Height 4.4 cm; Width3.5 cm. Note: cameo possibly carved by Elizabeth A. Kelly (Melbourne Sculptor) who apparently supplied cut cameo's in the mid 1860's Provenance: Kozminsky Jewellers, Melbourne
