A rare pair of 19th century Hugo Lonitz majolica quail and chicks figured planters, the full figured birds on sculpted naturalistic foliage ground in front of the reed modelled planter frames, in tones of brown, tan, green and blue, impressed double fish marks to base, some repairs to tips of reeds.
