A Japanese blue and white shallow bowl decorated to the centre with a medallion of flowers framed by three groups of flowering boughs and grasses divided by three fan panels with diaper patterns, the fan pattern repeats on the underside. Marked in underglaze blue within a double circle with a tri-form leaf motif.Late 18th century, considerable fritting to the rim.Diameter 36 cm
