A relief decorated celadon-ground vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, of archaic beaker form (gu), decorated in relief and pencilled in underglaze-blue with a pair of hare-like animals crouched beside rocks and a banana palm, a sun rising over scrolling clouds on the trumpet neck and wave splashed rocks on the splayed foot, all reserved on the pale celadon ground, the interior glazed in white 23.
