A large pair of ivory figures of an 'Emperor' and 'Empress', late 19th/20th century, each standing in long flowing wide-sleeved robes and carrying a basket of flowers in one hand, a large blossoming bough in the other, the bearded Emperor with a tall headdress and long sash at the back, a young girl at his side holding a flower spray, the Empress with tall chignon held by a phoenix headdress with pendant beads, the hair and incised details picked out in black, incised mark ËËFangcheng on the base (2) 66 cm and 67.
