Description:
A William IV period silver tea and coffee service, fluted melon shape, the body worked with a repeat pattern of vine leaves, the rims with foliate swags, the pots with foliate finials to the hinged lids, acanthus capping to the handles and spouts. The milk jug and sugar basin of conforming form but with Mermen as the handles. Each piece raised on circular domed eight-lobed bases. London 1831 by James Hobbs. Slight fault to teapot finial.
