A large Chinese porcelain famille verte vase, tapering square section with a flat shoulder and trumpet mouthed cylindrical neck. The walls of the vase decorated with an encircling scene of figures in an interior and on a veranda. The shoulder decorated with butterflies and blossom, the neck decorated with song birds perched in a flowering bough. Six character mark in underglaze blue under the base. Qing Dynasty, Qingzy reign mark. Height 49.5 cm.
