A silver mounted Scottish mull in horn by Ferguson and MacBean of Inverness, Edinburgh1890, the curved body of flattish section applied with interlacing ribbonwork enclosing applied crests of a stag and boar's head, below this section of scaled ivory appearance and terminating in a silver monster head, the hinged lid with an ivory band of in interlace ribbonwork surmounted by a silver open-work gallery enclosing a faceted carneleon, the interior section gilt, the body with two carrying rings for a band orf strap. Curved 33 cm wide
