A George III period long case clock, the brass dial with maker's name engraved to the top arch 'Robert Ward Abchurch Lane, London' above the 'Strike' and 'Silent' ring and chapter ring with Roman numerals enclosing the seconds dial and date aperture housed in a mahogany and oak case, the hood with double swan neck pediment and reeded pillars, the base with quartered reeded pillars, cross banded door and panel and bracket feet, 8 day movement striking on a bell.
