A Japanese black-lacquer armour with a okegawa do 19th century, components all lacquered black with gold and black ishime highlights on the lowest lames, laced in blue and comprising a twenty-four plate suji kabuto lacquered black and with a four-stage shakudo tehen kanamono and a three lame shikoro, the fukig'shi applied with butterfly heraldic crests of the Seki family; the Reisei-style menpo applied with a stiff boar-bristle moustache and red lips and gold-lacquer teeth, the mask fitted with a four-lame solid-plate yodarekake; the cuirass a ni-mai yokohagi okegawa do decorated with shakudo rivets, and hardware, the munaita and wakiita embellished with gold and black ishime lacquer, with seven sections of five-lame kusazuri of solid plates; chusode of solid plates getting progressively wider toward the bottom lame; oda gote sleeves with Seki family heraldic crests on the gauntlets; Etchu haidate; shino suneate; one armour box and an armour stand
