A George III silver-gilt teapot, by John Emes, London 1803of squat form and raised on a circular foot, the body with applied girdle and band of chased basket weave, beaded everted rim engraved with the Royal Crown, crest and motto, the lip chased with floral scrolls, the cover with pomegranate finial. Height 12 cm, weight 29oz, weight 930gms.
