An early 19th century English quarter chiming mahogany bracket clock, the dial signed for Brockbanks, the lancet shaped case with ripple moulded details and inlaid with ebony lines, set to each front corner with a cast Egyptian monopodia, with lions mask ring handles on ball feet, the 8 inch painted Roman dial with serpentine hands, the movement with shaped plates with engraved border, anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell and chiming the quarters on a nest of eight bells and hammers. Height 48 cm
