A heavy late Victorian period silver tea kettle on stand, oval section with fluted cornets and highly decorative flat chased decoration of classical floral design, the ornate stand with four lions paw feet and original spirits burner. Sheffield 1890. J Dixon & Sons, all marks match. Total weight approx. 1.9 kilos, with engraved inscription 'Presented to the Revd. Hhh Hockey, by the Boys of St Andrews, Jan. 12th 1909
