A pair of yellow-ground biscuit bowls, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period, each of flared form springing from a straight foot, the sides incised with three floral sprays spaced around the exterior, picked out in green, cream and aubergine enamels, the interior with a central sprig in green and aubergine, all reserved on the yellow ground, the base with underglaze-blue seal mark within a double circle, wood stands, box; 15 cm; (4); Compare with a similar aubergine ground bowl illustrated by He Li Chinese Ceramics from the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Cat no.
