A good Meiji period ivory okimono of a young Farmer girl she is going into the fields to cut grass or wheat. She stands with a sickle wearing a kimono and carrying a backpack frame with attached straw hat. Incised patterns. Mostly carved from one piece, signed on oval base. Height 19.5 cm
