A Royal Worcester fruit painted tall cylindrical vase, signed C. Hughes, gently tapering shape G 42 and raised on four gilded scroll feet, the short neck with pierced decoration and metallic paint finish below the rim trimmed in gilt, painted in the round with a groupings of peaches, plums, blackberries, apples and green vine fruits on a leafy and mossy ground. Black mark. Height 22 cm
