A very large and impressive Chinese famille rose porcelain room screen, the single large rectangular panel incorporating a multitude of exotic birds, centered with a peacock, his tail extended, situated in and around a colourful chrysanthemum flowering branch. Calligraphy to the top left corner. Framed in a carved and dark stained wood stand. 190 cm x 215.5 cm OA. The panel 81 cm x 167.5 cm. Provenance: Donated to and proceeds to the Mercy Hospice.
